Consultation

A full consultation will take approximately 1 hour.

The process begins with a one-to-one discussion regarding your hearing problem and what difficulties you are encountering.

Otoscopy

Your ears will be examined for ear wax, perforations and any other abnormalities.

Audiometry

A full audiometric examination will be carried out using calibrated testing equipment, the results of which will determine the degree and type of hearing loss

Hearing loss can be classified as sensori-neural, conductive or a mixture of both.

Referrable Conditions

With certain conditions no hearing aids will be recommended and you will be referred to your local GP for further examination and possible medical treatment.

Demonstration

Where hearing loss is found a demonstration will be carried out using the latest digital hearing aid technology to assess the response.

There are many styles of hearing aids available and you will have a variety to choose from to suit the hearing loss, lifestyle and cosmetic appearance. Many of today's modern digitals are completely invisible to the eye, giving ultimate discretion.
